About Us
Kahu K-9 Rescue is a community-driven, foster-based dog rescue dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need throughout Marion County, Florida. We focus on helping stray, abandoned, and at-risk dogs by providing safe placement, veterinary care, and behavioral support while they wait for their forever homes. In addition to rescue efforts, we actively work within our community to reunite lost pets with their owners, assist with emergency intakes, and promote responsible pet ownership through spay and neuter outreach. With the support of our local “village,” we have helped dozens of dogs find safety, healing, and loving families.
