About Us
Our organization is committed to maintaining the independence of our seniors by supporting the needs of their pets. AniMeals is a program that came about when we learned that some of our Meals on Wheels clients were not eating all of their nutritious meals, but instead sharing parts of their meals with their pets. This is a real problem for individuals who live on a minimal income while also being desperately in need themselves of the nutritional benefits that the meals provide. KAFASI’S AniMeals program is designed to provide monthly pet food to homebound, low-income Meals on Wheels participants. We recognize that financial and physical limitations can be barriers to caring for pets. KAFASI hopes to ease some of these burdens to make it possible for local seniors and their pets to stay together.Find Us
