About Us
Kitten Associates is an award-winning, all-volunteer, home-foster based, non-profit cat rescue located in Sandy Hook, CT. Founded in 2010, by Robin AF Olson & Sam Moore, Kitten Associates’ mission is to save pregnant cats, orphan kittens, or kittens with challenging medical conditions. Their network provides a loving environment where every cat gets thorough vet care and high quality nutrition. Their core principal: good food leads to a long, healthy life. They’re one of the few rescues in the country that feeds a fresh diet and uses a holistic approach to wellness. K.A. also has a free cat behavior hotline and created the unique program, “Kitties for Kids”— therapeutic play sessions featuring foster kittens. K for K helped their community begin to heal after the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary. Kitten Associates is funded by donations from the general public.
