Kitten Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to finding loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia.
Since we began in 1997, we have rescued and placed over 31,000 cats into loving homes.
The core of what we do at Kitten Rescue is rescue, foster, and adopt out cats and kittens. We do this to prevent them from dying on the streets or being euthanized at LA City Shelters. Most live in our volunteer foster homes until we can find permanent homes for them. Some who need special care, are elderly, or are unlikely to be adopted live at the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary in Atwater Village.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee. Adoption Fees are:
