About Us
LOL is an all volunteer, foster-based rescue dedicated to saving dogs in Western NC and upstate shelters from euthanasia by transporting them to partner rescues in the NE and Canada where forever homes await them. We are a 501(c) (3) organization that was founded in May 2017. Every dime and donation goes to the direct care of the dogs. LOL saved over 1000 2020-2021 and placed them in loving homes. LOL maintains top quality foster homes for dogs; pays the veterinarian bills to ensure the dogs are healthy and spayed or neutered: coordinates the transport of the dogs to the NE and Canada: takes in hard to place or medically needy dogs that would otherwise be euthanized; partners with community agencies to educate and promote spay/neuter for animals whose owners cannot afford this service.Find Us
