About Us
We are a 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to helping dogs in the Mahoning and Trumbull county and the surrounding areas. OUR MISSION: It started with one dog. That first dog that left the first paw prints on our hearts. We do this in honor of all the dogs we have ever loved. They live on though an ongoing legacy of love. Legacy Dog Rescue has two main purposes. First is rescue. We take dogs from many places. We place them in foster homes then find them loving forever homes. The second purpose is what we call community service. Our spay/neuter program is very close to our hearts.
