About Us

In addition to being a rescue for cats in need of homes, we also run a sanctuary for special needs cats that is, in large part, run by special needs people. Cats in the care of our sanctuary include felines with cryptococcosis, deformities, socialization issues, FIV, various autoimmune disorders and disabilities. Various members of our board identify as neurodivergent due to having such conditions as bipolarity, ADHD, autism, and anxiety disorders. We work together to do what none of us could do alone to care for these very special cats in need. You may have heard of us being referred to as PUNKS FOR PUSSIES. That is the fundraising face of our rescue that puts on art exhibits and benefit concerts to benefit Lifelines For Felines, Inc.. We are misfits at heart and saving cats is our sacred calling.
