About Us

Liz E.'s Pekingese Rescue and Sanctuary is a place for Pekingese dogs who have been neglected, abandoned, or surrendered. We take the most vulnerable, those with behavioral issues, those with disabilities, those with medical needs and/or those who are aging. We specialize in those hard-to-place dogs and give them a life of freedom. They live with safety, security, food, warm soft beds, a yard filled with grass and sometimes even the beach! They are served and waited on, day and night, by two very committed people and volunteers in many states.
