About Us
Lone Star Underdogs is committed to keeping pets safe, happy and healthy while they wait to be placed in a forever home. We are a 501(c)(3) rescue located near Dallas, TX. We rescue pups from high kill/overcrowded shelters around the DFW area and also take in dumped dogs, strays and owner surrenders. We provide all of them with necessary veterinary care and then place them into loving foster homes until the perfect furever home is found for them (we do not have a boarding facility). We pride ourselves on making the best matches for the pups and families looking for a new furry companion and continue to stay in contact once the pup leaves our care.
