Welcome to Mahina’s Ohana Rescue! Founded in 2023 and based in Clackamas, Oregon, Mahina’s Ohana Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to saving at-risk dogs from high-kill shelters across the West Coast. Our mission is to enrich the lives of our rescue dogs and help them find loving, forever homes in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. As a small but mighty rescue, we focus on the “overlooked,” “misunderstood,” and “mislabeled” underdogs—especially pit bull and bully breed types, who face the highest euthanasia rates in shelters nationwide.
