About Us
We are a non-profit animal shelter who started our life saving efforts in 2006, and officially became a 501(c)3 in 2008. Our first rescue was Cocoa, a pregnant Chocolate Lab who was found in an abandoned home. She went on to have 11 little "Marshmallows". Which is how our name came to be. After her rescue, we knew our community needed somewhere for the lost & unwanted to go, since then we have saved countless animals from lives on the streets & reunited many others as well. Taking in around 500 animals per year. Our mission is to improve our community by reuniting the lost & advocating for the unwanted.Find Us
