About Us
Stephen Levine is a hands-on dog rescue and rehabilitation specialist with nearly a decade of international experience working with street dogs, at-risk rescues, and misunderstood family pets. His journey began in 2017 in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala, after rescuing a starving street puppy named Cypress. What started with one dog grew into a full-scale mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs across Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States. Stephen’s work goes far beyond basic obedience. He specializes in real-world, connection-based training — helping reactive, fearful, or feral dogs become balanced, social, and safe family companions. He trains both dogs and people, guiding families, children, and shelters through practical, energy-based approaches rooted in calm structure and mutual respect. Stephen lives and trains with his pack — including core dogs Dhurva, Cypress, Ms. Ginny, and Nala — who assist in socializing new rescues.
