About Us
Our organization is committed to keeping pets safe, happy and healthy while they wait to be placed in a forever home. Although Melrose Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar building, we are a group of committed volunteers who rescue, foster and care for cats and kittens in our homes. All of the animals in our care are vet checked, tested for FeLV and FIV and spayed or neutered before going to their furever homes. We are strictly a no kill shelter. We also assist individuals or other organizations with spay and neuter or TNR services in an effort to decrease the homeless animal overpopulation.
