About Us
The Mercer Humane Society, founded over 50 years ago, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving Mercer County, Kentucky. We are currently located at 165 Eminence Avenue in Harrodsburg, within Mercer County, KY. This facility is only for cats within our care and can be visited between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. Weekends are available by appointment only. The Mercer Humane Society is solely dependent on private donations, grants, and community support. We receive no operating support from national animal welfare groups, or any national, state, county, or local government. With the continued support of our community, we’ll be able to continue helping control the population of unwanted cats in Mercer County, Kentucky.Find Us
