About Us
Miri’s Haven is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501c3 senior dog rescue dedicated to the rescue, care, and adoption of senior dogs into loving, forever homes throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, and West Virginia. We are run entirely by dedicated volunteers and do not receive any public funding. Funding is derived entirely from fundraising and donations offered by individuals and local organizations who believe in our mission. We are committed to helping the animals of our community and acting as a voice for the most vulnerable senior dogs. Our Adoption Process
An application must be submitted and we will then conduct an applicant interview, vet reference, personal references and home check. We then work to match applicants with dogs and schedule meet and greets. The adoption fee is $300
