About Us
Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue (MLGSDR) was founded in 1998 as a 501c3 non-profit organization with the goal of rescuing and re-homing abused, neglected or abandoned German Shepherd Dogs (GSDs). Based in Suamico, WI, MLGSDR primarily rescues GSDs in the Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois areas.
We are a volunteer based organization and rely solely on donations and fundraising to provide the means necessary to care for the dogs we rescue. Foster homes are a key component of our organization and are always needed. We also appreciate volunteers and offer a variety of ways to get involved and help MLGSDR and our mission to rescue GSDs.
