About Us
Founded in 1972, Monroe County Meals on Wheels’ mission is to provide superior nutritional support, a daily human connection, and other supportive services to the home bound so they may remain safe and independent in their homes. One of these supportive services is our Pet Program. The Pet Program began in 2009, when it was determined some of our clients shared their meals with their pets. We provide our clients with a two-week supply of pet food delivered once a month by our dedicated volunteers. There are currently 75 clients with a total of 110+ pets participating in our program. Our goal is to keep our clients' pets happy, healthy, and in their homes where they belong.Find Us
