About Us
At Mountain Shadows Equine Revival, our mission is to create a better future for horses by taking in at-risk equines, providing them with proper medical care and quality training, and then placing them in loving adoptive homes. We are also committed to community education to prevent abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Despite the large population of horses in Wyoming, we are one of only three horse rescues in the state and the most active. We are one of very few rescues in the country that provide training to all of the horses in our care prior to adoption in the belief that a well-trained horse is much more likely to stay in a forever home and not return to a cycle of mistreatment.
