About Us

Mountainview Horse Rescue takes in horses from owners no longer able to care for them, as well as rescuing from auctions &/or brokers, where they may be caught up in the slaughter pipeline. Your support goes a long way in helping us to give them the love & care they need & deserve, whether it be vet &/or farrier care, groceries to bring them up to proper weight, training, &/or just plain old TLC. Those unsuitable for adoption will reside with us permanently, & those able to go on to new homes are matched with thoroughly vetted adopters, & followed up on to assure they stay safe.
