NEHS is an animal rescue and animal care facility in Cumberland, Rhode Island. In addition to our facility, we have foster homes located throughout New England. We are a group of dedicated animal lovers who rescue animals from euthanasia at overcrowded county shelters and pounds, as well as abandoned animals, litters found in fields, inhumane situations and other homeless animals in need. NEHS’s goal is to care for these rescues until they find their forever homes. We are also committed to educating the public about responsible pet care.
