About Us
New Moon Farm Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and long-term care of unwanted, neglected or abused farm animals in need. In addition to working with local animal control agencies, we take in senior and special needs farm animals on a case-by-case basis. We also care for a permanent herd including many special needs animals. New Moon Farm is committed to promoting compassion and respect for all living creatures through a presence in the community and by offering educational opportunities. Since taking in our first goat, Ziggy, in 1998, New Moon Farm has taken in, rehabilitated, and found homes for over 1,750 animals.
