About Us

Next Step Horse Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing a sanctuary for abused, neglected and unwanted horses, and dedicated to educating horse owners and potential horse owners about horse care and management. Our goal is to help every horse that comes into our program whether it be from physical abuse, neglect, or behavior problems due to abuse. We are committed to rehabilitate or re-train all horses and find them approved, qualified homes. Our educational programs consist of field trips to schools or organizations, horse camps and individual lessons, and many more educational activities.
