About Us
Operation Greyhound is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)(3) organization that is managed by volunteer directors. The organization is totally public supported. It is dedicated to the rescue and adoption of racing greyhounds, and the promotion of public awareness to the plight of the greyhounds. The organization has adopted out over 3,000 greyhounds in the past 24 years. It has facilities for 21 greyhounds and has a constant waiting list for incoming greyhounds. We estimate over 20,000 greyhounds need to be rescued annually from U.S. greyhound race tracks. Each greyhound that we rescue is a treasure for an adopter. Placing greyhounds in qualified, loving and responsible homes is the primary mission of Operation Greyhound. Organization Documentation: The following information is available for corporate sponsors.
