About Us
Orchard Animal Outreach was created based on lofty goals. We would like to eventually establish a shelter for the shelter animals that are due to be euthanized for a variety of reasons. Some are labeled "unadoptable" because they are old, sick, scared and evaluated as aggressive and therefore, not even given a first chance let alone a second.
It is our goal to build a shelter/sanctuary, and a community of rescues large enough to accommodate such animals from shelters throughout the state. In addition, We provide affordable or free services and supplies for the caretakers of homeless animals, we provide low cost or free spay and neuters, we promote and educate the importance of TNR, with the express goal of only returning truly feral cats to established, well monitored colonies and get healthy tame cats into homes off the streets.
