The Ocala Wildlife Sanctuary (OWLS-OCALA INC.) became a 100% volunteer, non profit 501c(3) organization in 2005. For more than twenty years, the sanctuary’s mission is to provide humane care for all birds in distress. While owls are the main animals rescued, owners Keith Belisle and Kenneth Lane rescue, rehabilitate, and release animals of all kinds whenever possible.
