About Us
Papayago Rescue House is located near Atlanta and we are only one of two active parrot rescues in the state of GA. We are a nonprofit Georgia Department of Agriculture inspected rescue, supporting the well-being of parrots through rescue, rehabilitation, retraining, and rehoming. We are equivalent to a no-kill Animal Shelter/Rescue for dogs and cats. Our rescue supports over 150 parrots and we are currently at capacity. We help troubled birds and their families stay together, take in surrendered birds, offer adoption and educational programs.
