About Us

PAW Alliance works at the intersection of animal welfare and social justice. Our programs focus on supporting people and animals in ways that help each other heal. Our New Leash on Life program trains inmates in our local correctional center as dog trainers. This program helps our trainers gain both social and employment skills and helps rescue dogs learn skills that will help them be successful in their forever home. Our New Start in life program provides temporary foster care for pets whose owners are fleeing domestic violence- allowing the animals to be safe during this transition and their owners the comfort of knowing their pets are not at risk of abuse while they seek safety. Your gift of support helps us continue to invest in a world where people and animals work together to heal. We accept gift cards, bedding, treats, toys, collars, crates and other items that help us care for the animals in our programs.
