About Us

Paws and Claws Cat Rescue is a nonprofit based in Evanston IL. We rescue cats and kittens from animal control facilities in the Chicagoland area and beyond (Southern IL, IN, KY,). We also take in owner surrenders and rescue animals from life on the streets. Paws and Claws is dedicated to preventing and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.
