PAWS Atlanta is a place of love and hope where more than 1,000 animals each year find shelter, care, and new beginnings. As Georgia’s oldest no-kill shelter, each day we work to place animals into loving homes and provide individuals and families with services to keep people and pets together and animals out of shelters. Almost 166 healthy pets are euthanized each day in metro-Atlanta animal control facilities. That’s nearly 70% of all dogs/cats that enter area shelters. Our work to address this problem, for example, includes our adoption initiatives, Vaccine Clinics, pet food bank, summer camps for kids, and foster care programs.
