About Us
Paws Cat Shelter is an all Volunteer, no-kill cat rescue located in Rural Northeast Connecticut. We do not receive any support from state or local entities, but depend on adoptions, donations and fundraising to maintain our shelter and care for our cats. Last year we brought in 1200 cats and kittens and adopted out almost 900. All of the cats/kittens we adopt out are fixed, updated with shots and tested for FIV/FLV. We also promote TNR (trap neuter and return) and we are currently working on a program to promote a low cost/no cost spay/neuter program.
