About Us
I moved to Colorado in 2006 to rescue "Pit Bull" type dogs. Peanut's Place is a tribute to my first Pit Bull. Because of her I fell in love with these breeds.Peanut passed on in April 2007 from complications of Cushing's Disease at the young age of 5-1/2. I saw a need to save such misunderstood dogs. I try to educate people about Pit Bull type dogs.They're not the killing machines the media portrays them as. They are loving,devoted companions.Sure they're high energy,but what do you expect from a breed that has "Terrier" as their last name? There is no such thing as a "bad dog".
