Petals for Pups Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Marcos, CA, rescuing dachshunds and short-legged breeds from high-intake Southern California shelters. We pull at-risk dogs from euthanasia lists, coordinate foster placements, and connect dogs with permanent homes through our volunteer network. We are also the creator of PupSource, a free mobile app for rescue coordinators that provides real-time shelter alerts, foster matching, and rescue pipeline tools — available free on the App Store.
