About Us
Our animal welfare/social justice organization has two programs: A New Leash on Life prison dog-training program that pairs shelter dogs in need of training with qualifying inmates in a minimum-security men's prison. The dogs save the men and the men save the dogs. Our well-trained dogs are adopted into loving homes. Our recidivism rate for men who have successfully gone through this program is ZERO! 0%. Not one has gone back to prison.
Our other program is A New Start in Life, which helps domestic violence survivors & their pets while the survivor is in the local domestic violence shelter. We foster the pets, providing medical care; bedding, food, treats, and toys; and plenty of love. After the survivor leaves the shelter to begin a new life, they're reunited with their pets.
Both programs are very expensive, and both are our heart.
Any help--gift cards, bedding, treats, toys, certain flea & tick meds (Nexgard), heartworm meds (Sentinel)--would mean the world to us.
