Planned Feralhood was founded in 2002, to address the burgeoning feral cat explosion in our community of Point Reyes Station in West Marin County, CA, bordering the Point Reyes National Seashore. Sixteen years of offering free Trap/Neuter/Return/Feeding & Monitoring, Kitten socializing and Adoptions, Relocations, and Sanctuary for those with no other options, resulted in a zero feral (homeless/community) cat population goal.
Our mission now, in our 21rst year, is to keep our promise to the 12 cats who remain in sanctuary with us - to keep them safe and sound - to provide them with food and shelter, veterinary care, and when the time comes - hospice care and burial.
