About Us
We started Pooch Savers Rescue in 2019 because we were moved to action by the animal welfare crisis in Texas. We are an all-volunteer, foster-based nonprofit dog rescue – we receive no government funding—our work is 100% dependent on donations. We take in owner surrenders, strays, and urgent medical cases, providing lifesaving medical care - and we also partner with overcrowded shelters to save dogs at risk of euthanasia. We do everything possible to give dogs a second chance at a healthy, happy life, with the ultimate goal of finding them loving, responsible homes.
