About Us
This rescue was funded originally in response to rejection and deferral by all of the big name groups. I only wanted to save a colony of barn cats that were being abused. That colony was saved, in part by myself, and in part by donors.
Over the last 7 years the shelter has grown to just over 100 cats. Everyone is spayed and neutered. We rehome cats when suitable homes can be found, and are 100% no-kill. It is a struggle working a full time job, while running this rescue physically by myself. I couldn't do it without the help and support of others.
We use approximately three to four of the 30lb bags of Friskies, fifty or more of the 13 oz cans of 9 Lives, seven of the multipacks (40 cans each) of Friskies.
Food, flea meds, toys, cat trees, anything is a blessing.
