About Us
While the Prattville/Autauga Humane Society shelter staff may be small in size, it has a big heart for the animals. The staff works daily to meet the animals' needs such as cleaning, feeding, watering, exercising and socialization. The staff works to help reunite lost pets to their rightful owners, to find “forever homes” for adoptable animals and meet the daily needs of the animals in their care. They hold a paw in their hand every day. Our mission is to provide a safe, caring environment for every animal that enters our facility while reuniting lost pets with their caring, rightful owners and finding loving forever homes for as many as possible and to stand up for those who can’t speak for themselves to stop neglect, abuse, and cruelty and prevent future incidents through education and perseverance.
