Precious Paws Animal Rescue (PPAR) was founded in 2001 in Franklin, Pennsylvania by a diverse group of local citizens who care deeply about animals. We have grown from our initial foster-based rescue, to a small shelter and low cost spay-neuter and wellness clinic. PPAR believes that all life has the right to freedom from cruelty, abuse, ignorance, exploitation and neglect, and is entitled to legal, moral and ethical consideration and protection. Furthermore, we believe that every domesticated animal has the right to be wanted, cherished, and protected, and deserves not to be born unless these rights can be guaranteed.
