About Us
Priest River Animal Rescue (PRAR) was founded in February 2002 in answer to pet abandonment. We aggressively promote spay and neuter as a way to end pet suffering by prevention of unwanted births. Our volunteers work diligently to put lost pets back in their homes. PRAR works towards a future with no more homeless pets. Our mission is to rescue stray, abandoned and abused animals in Bonner County, Idaho, Pend Oreille County, Washington and surrounding areas. PRAR is a "No Kill" rescue organization that provides medical care to every animal rescued. All animals adopted from PRAR are spayed/neutered as an effective way to solve animal overpopulation. PRAR promotes community-wide humane education in the importance of spay/neutering and providing good care to animals.Find Us
