About Us
Primarily 'Possums is a state and federally licensed, non-profit, volunteer-run wildlife rehabilitation facility. We care for most native Georgia wildlife, including rabies vector species like bats and foxes. Our federal migratory bird permit allows us to receive and hold injured or orphaned songbirds while awaiting transport, providing triage and pain management. We specialize in, you guessed it, Virginia opossums and are one the few bat rehabbers in the state! As we are an organization of one and a half, our capacity is limited but we do our best to refer callers and finders to other agencies throughout the state.Find Us
