About Us
We are a small group of rescuers with a large amount of passion for dogs and cats!!! Our Mission: To promote animal welfare through public awareness, to act as a rescue screening and placement service for animals needing foster and adoptive homes from high-kill shelters and to act as a resource for other rescues, shelters and prospective adopters. RORR is not breed specific and focuses on the dogs who are the last to be adopted and saved from shelters: black dogs, hounds and seniors. We also rescue cats and have a cattery based out of Highland, MD. Our Rescue was founded in 2010 and since the inception we have adopted out over 2,600 dogs and cats.
