About Us
Redwood Pals Rescue is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to spaying/neutering and vaccinating dogs in our community. We spend time at the Humboldt County Animal Shelter helping in any way needed to improve the lives of the shelter dogs. We take shelter dogs on day outings, to events in the community, and help pay fees to reunite dogs with their owners. We pay for the shelter and rescue dogs to go through training if needed, for boarding when we have more dogs that need rescuing than we have space in foster homes, and medical costs for our rescue dogs. We provide supplemental dog food for community members as well as toys and treats when the shelter runs low.
