About Us
Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue (RMDR) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping dachshunds in Utah and the surrounding Rocky Mountain states who need a home. As a no-kill rescue, we provide the dogs in our care essential medical services, rehabilitation, and adoption opportunities. RMDR works with dedicated volunteers and fosters who supply compassionate care to the dachshunds that we help. Our fosters are the dog's temporary family, who love them as their own doxie! They take them to vet visits, the dog park, cuddle with them–and help them get back on their soft little bean-paws while adjusting to this big change in life!Find Us
