About Us
We have both a dog and horse rescue at our farm. Rough Start Horse Rescue was founded in 2009 and when the founders decided to move to Texas, instead of closing down the rescue, we decided to move the rescue to our horse farm. We were already rescuing dogs since 1991 and helped them placed over 1,200 head of horses. So we are under new management in a new location with a new director who has been training dogs and horses for over 40 years. We are just waiting for our updated tax letter from the IRS.
