We founded Salvation Akita Rescue to provide extra support in the fight against homeless, surrendered, abandoned, and abused Akitas dogs. We believe this battle starts with the education of the public. This breed can be your greatest friend, if you are willing to train yourself to understand them. Are you up for a challenge? Our Akitas are mainly found in shelters although we are also able to be a resource for owner surrenders as well. Notification of an Akita in need requires a network of people. This can be you!
