About Us

Shadows Sanctuary is a nonprofit reptile and exotic mammal rescue, sanctuary, and educational organization dedicated to providing safe, lifelong care for reptiles and other animals in need. We rescue animals, provide appropriate habitats, nutrition, veterinary care, enrichment, and rehabilitation whenever possible. We also educate children, families, schools, and our community through hands-on educational programs that promote responsible animal ownership, conservation, and respect for wildlife. Our goal is to give every animal in our care the quality of life it deserves while helping people better understand and appreciate reptiles. Support from partners like Chewy helps us provide essential food, supplies, medical care, and enrichment while allowing us to continue expanding our educational outreach and impact in our community.
