About Us
Our mission: PEACE FOR ALL BEINGS. Here at Shangri La Farm Sanctuary we rescue abused, neglected and senior farmed animals as well as senior dogs. Currently we have 2 horses rescued from a slaughter truck and a donkey rescued from an abuse situation as well as 4 dogs who are all rescues. My dream as a child was to start a farm sanctuary and I even had the name picked out way back then ! About 15 years ago my husband and I decided to rescue senior dogs. We have adopted them with cancer, blind, deaf, arthritis so severe they have to be carried and give them a loving home until it's their time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. We have adopted over 14 dogs!
