Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team (START) is a 501(c)3 Animal Rescue that has established the goal to reduce euthanasia of surrendered, stray/seized animals in overcrowded shelters in Southern and Central California. These dogs & cats, potential companion/abused animals, desperately need safe passages to less populated states rescue agencies can provide the rehabilitation/socialization needed to be permanently adopted.
