About Us

Snakes Alive Rescue is a non-profit organization. We’re a Federal 501c3 and all the money to fund the rescue comes from adoption fees, fundraisers, donations, or out of our own pockets. Currently we don’t receive any government aid, grants, or assistance. We rely on our followers and the animal community to help us in our endeavors. Many of the animals we receive into the rescue are injured, sick, malnourished, abused, or aggressive. Brittney is at the rescue full-time and helps bring those animals back to health and works with the animals every day to ensure they are handled and receive the attention that will help them become socialized. She keeps up with the myriad of different animals we keep and manages to get all their diets, feeding schedules, and enclosures in shape and on time! Michael helps her in the evenings and weekends, keeps track of the events and handles the larger, more aggressive animals, as well as building and repairing anything that needs fixed.
