About Us
SOS Beagle Rescue (with chapters in Atco, NJ, Knoxville, TN, and Gulf Shores, AL) has been in existence for 31 years and pulls on average 225 beagles a year from high-kill shelters. The dogs are completely vetted, and placed in prescreened homes to live out their life well-loved. All adoptions start with an application on our website, www.sosbeagles.org. Beagles are not the pet for everyone -- they are smart and stubborn and tend to roam so secure fences or a willingness to leash-walk at all times is required.
